Now Hiring Georgetown University Students

So maybe Jack isn't the most athletic dog in the world. That doesn't mean you can't provide other dogs in Georgetown with a vigorous run to keep them (and you!) in great shape!

Established in 2010, we've had jobs for students at Georgetown University since the very beginning. Many of our past student workers keep in touch as alumni by following their team of dogs on our social channels and even visiting in person to reunite with their favorite pups!

Why Do Georgetown Students Choose to Work with Pant & Wag?

  • Flexible Hours: We understand that being a student at Georgetown University and it's rigorous academic programs comes with its own set of commitments. Plus, you'll always have weekends and nights off.

You won't get rich working with  Pant & Wag, but you'll earn enough spending money in these positions to actually have a bit of a social life or buy some new running shoes. We pay $25 per hour (driving position) or $20 per hour (non-driving position), which makes our hourly wage significantly higher than most app-based jobs, dog walker jobs, and entry level retail jobs.

  • Easy Commute: Most of our clients live in the Georgetown neighborhood and we have several pick-up points just footsteps away from campus. You don't need a car and you don't need to take the bus!

  • Resume Booster: Gain valuable work experience and enhance your skillset. There's a good chance your future boss will have a dog and this intriguing job title will catch their eye and make your resume stand out from the pack (pun intended!) Our past student workers have gone on to medical school, law school, work in Government and are leaders in the private sector. We are always happy to provide a reference or a letter of recommendation for our dedicated workers.
